Designing a bespoke engagement ring with Goldlinks starts with a conversation, in person in Prestwich, Manchester, or remotely from anywhere in the UK. You do not need to know all the answers. We guide you through the design, explain your options and make sure the details feel right before anything is made.

Every bespoke engagement ring is unique, but most begin with one of these settings. Use them as a starting point, combine them, or bring us something entirely new.
Solitaire
A single centre diamond on a clean band. Timeless, and the setting lets the stone do the talking.
Halo & hidden halo
A frame of small diamonds around the centre stone, either on show for extra sparkle or tucked beneath it as a detail revealed up close.
Trilogy
Three stones side by side, often chosen to represent past, present and future.
Diamond shoulders
Diamonds set along the band, from a delicate pavé line to bolder claw-set stones like our oval design above.

What is a bespoke engagement ring?
A bespoke engagement ring is designed from scratch around your ideas and made only for you. A ring builder combines an existing setting with a stone you choose; with bespoke, every detail of the design is open to change.
How long does a bespoke ring take?
Allow around 3–4 weeks from design approval. Timing depends on the design and stone availability, so tell us your proposal date at the first conversation.
Can I see the design before it is made?
Yes. We create a detailed CAD design, then a 3D-printed model so you can check the proportions and feel. Your design is approved before the ring is made.
Should I choose a natural or lab-grown diamond?
Both are real diamonds and look the same to the eye. Lab-grown diamonds usually give you a larger stone for the same budget, while natural diamonds are rarer. We can show you both side by side and explain the GIA or IGI report for each.
What if I don't know their ring size?
We can help you find it discreetly, for example from a ring they already wear on that finger. We will also advise how easily your chosen design can be resized.
Do I need to visit Manchester?
You can visit us by appointment in Prestwich, Manchester, or work with Daniel by phone, email and video call from elsewhere in the UK.
Can you use my own diamond?
We can discuss resetting your own diamond or remodelling an inherited piece. We will assess the stone and setting before confirming what is possible.
How much will my ring cost?
Each ring is quoted individually. The diamond, metal and design determine the price. Share a comfortable budget and we will explain the options and provide a clear quote before production.
Can you design a matching wedding ring?
Yes. We can design a wedding band around your engagement ring so the shapes sit beautifully together. We also create bespoke eternity rings for anniversaries and milestones.
